Valeria has multiple degrees in the field of European culture and languages. Her studies took her to the United Kingdom, France (Corsica) and Russia, where she deepened her knowledge of these languages and trained as in translation techniques.
Born and raised in Sicily, Valeria sees the island as a very enticing place. She is now an official guide for the region, and she dedicates herself to leading tours across the island, helping travelers steep themselves in the manifold cultural details of her native island. Passionate about food and wine, Valeria has been working towards an AIS degree (Associazione Italiana Sommelier). She has passed her first level diploma. In 2021, she became a licensed naturalistic guide, and her passion for nature, history, local cuisine and wines imbibes the tours she leads.
