Mario holds a degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Catania. After many years working as an agronomist, he decided to transform his passion for nature and trekking into his full time job, and became a licensed naturalistic guide in 2004. Since then, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience, and none of Sicily’s natural beauties of Sicily is unknown to him, including, of course, Mount Etna, the Madonie and Nebrodi mountain areas. Throughout the winter, he dedicates himself to skiing and snowshoes hiking on Mount Etna.
