Le cave d’Ispica combine great landscape, history and archaeology. Located along a superb 13km long canyon carved out of the Hyblean plateau on the southern tip of Sicily, the cave were home to Sicily’s most ancient populations. They also bear testimony to a more recent history. In effect, after the Sicels, archaeological evidence points to the successive presence of Greeks, Romans, Arabs and Normans.
